My 12-year old system stopped working unexpectedly during subzero weather. Klebs got a technician out the same day and provided a quote for replacing a failed solenoid valve in the gas supply line and replacing a functioning but rough-running inducer motor. At my request the tech also took measurements to quote out a new system installation.I shopped around various Anchorage heating companies and got multiple quotes for a variety of setups. I ended up staying with Klebs because they were knowledgeable, patient, fairly priced, and willing to educate me as a consumer. Brandon and I went back and forth multiple times narrowing down the right setup. My focus was on ease of maintenance and long-term parts availability, and I ended up purchasing a new IBC boiler/indirect tank setup. It took 6 business days from signing the paperwork to starting the install.On the day of the install, the two techs Ryan and Ben showed up promptly and got to work immediately. They took particular care with protecting the floors, they were patient with my animals, and they respected my home.It was a two day install and they were polite and efficient throughout the process. As of today, I have hot water and my house is warm. I am happy with the service I received and I would recommend Klebs.
Steve was awesome. He answered right away, after 5 PM on a Sunday too, told me how much it would be to resolve the issue with my furnace (a fair price, I might add) and then told me he would be there in 20 minutes. Repair was completed in less than an hour.
My house furnace quit working so I called Klebs Mechanical, they sent a technician over to troubleshoot the problem, he found three things wrong with it. My furnace is 20 years old, he told me he would try to find the parts, I called them up to see what the status of the parts was left messages no call back, I finally got a hold of someone and a week later sent another person with the parts out but couldn’t fix it, he told me he would try to get the right part but the next day he called me back and told me I was better off investing in a new furnace fixed myself.
Ricky from Klebs' was amazing. He responded to an emergency call when my heater stopped working on Jan 4, temp -8F. He was so professional and had my heater working in an hour. I am so grateful and so impressed. I will be used Klebs for all my heating needs going forward.
Well, Klebs was responsive in calling me back on a weekend. He talked about the issue; my heater was not working. He suggested we call in the morning as it wasn’t that cold out, and that would make it a normal house call rather than a after hours, expensive call out. After working on the heater and discovering a fourth fuse, I ended up replacing the fuse and it fixed the issue… But I didn’t know it. I had turned off the machine from the switch in back.That is why i didn’t realize my fix.So when the after hours Klebs guy came by… after some discussion he flipped the switch on… Everything worked! So I had to pay a $300 after-hours stupid tax. And glad to do it.
