I'd gotten an estimate for a water heater from another company, but I always have Laney's for HVAC maintenance, so I wanted to try them for plumbing. Not only did their bid come in lower, but Jeremy considered all aspects of the connection and made adjustments so everything was working better than ever. Now, I'm just as impressed with Laney's plumbing service as I am with their HVAC.
My experience with Laneys has always been positive. I called them first thing Monday morning with a leaking water heater. They had me back up and running again with a brand new water heater (replaced under warranty, I had no idea it was still under warranty) by Wednesday afternoon. The only reason it took until Wednesday was due to it not being in stock. Jeremy was Very professional, very friendly, and a very knowledgeable technician.
Making an appointment was easy. Matt arrived and performed furnace inspection. I got his report and had questions answered. Very courteous, all precautions were taken to avoid any foot tracks. Excellent work.
Im not impressed with Anna the robot talking to me when no human is available. Can't really communicate with them so why try. I was at least expecting someone to call and give me an approximate time. After calling twice and waiting until 2am I gave up and went to sleep... cold. I had a couple of heat sources that were inadequate. I woke up at 7:45 am and called again. Was told when someone was available they'd be sent out. My temp in house was 59 degrees but did get down to about 54 before heat sources were turned on. Anna told me because I had a gas furnace with no pilot light and because I had heating water pipes in danger of freezing that my case was considered an "emergency.BUT she also said if no one calls tonight I'd be contacted in the morning first thing. That response gave me a confused understanding of what she meant by an "emergency". I'm not sure any one tried to even call me first thing. Someone finally showed up about 2 or 2:30 pm. He was kind, he explained things well. He was very accommodating as I have trouble going up and down my stairs. I went down once to get an idea of what he was saying. He took pictures to show me what needed to be done. Please thank him for his kindness. It took all night for my house to warm up to stay comfortable. It just seems like the communication could improve. Thank goodness my pipes were OK. It hit -9* that night.
Appreciate the phone call giving 20 minutes notice. Very prompt and timely. This was just a warranty check. Prompt service, done in 15-20 minutes. Austin was very professional, explained well all he did and checked, great communicator, and very friendly. Laneys is great! My wife and I appreciate the annual warranty checks. Great furnace, great firm! I highly recommend!!
