I had a problem with a hot water heater that had started leaking and called Joe’s plumbing, heating & A.C. To take a look at it. An appointment was made for an inspection on Monday and after being viewed it was decided to replace the tank. They booked me in at their earliest opportunity, which was Wednesday and were quick and efficient at replacing the defective tank with a new item. I would definitely contact them again if I had another issue.
Beware, these people should not be working around gas, for safety reasons! My landlord hired them to come fix a gas leak at my apt, they were completely unprofessional and ended up not fixing the leak at all. It was during the days in January when it was -25 and my 11 month old and I were waiting for them to come fix the heat for hours past the time they gave us.They first did not show up, then kept putting it off hour after hour and they even tried to push me off until the next day knowing I had a baby in the cold. When they came they acted very unprofessional, didn’t communicate with me, left for hours and then came back with McDonald’s, all while my child and I huddled on the couch in winter jackets and blankets. After they “fixed” the leak, I could still smell chemicals/gas.They refused to come back and fix anything, charged my landlord close to $1000 and when he had a new company come in it was realized they didn’t fix the leak they put PLUMBERS tape over the part that was leaking. When this was brought to their attention they still refused to refund, and still will not refund the money to my landlord to this day. They were very rude, even went as far to say they did their job it’s our problem now. I don’t understand how anyone could do such shoddy work especially with something as important as gas and still have a job or conscience. If you value your family’s safety stay far away from this company.Edit: I just found my landlord’s review of this company and it was much more detailed and professionally written than mine, Joes replied that she was not the person who ordered the service and that they stand by their work. MAJOR RED FLAG. You stand by fixing a gas leak with plumbers tape??? Which has been recorded on video. I think you should reevaluate your customer service abilities as well as get off your high horse considering you stand by shady, rushed, and unsafe work. Absolutely ridiculous
We have a sewer backup that was found early in the morning. I called and they were able to fit me in at 2pm. They then had an availability in the morning and were here by 9am. The technician was polite, professional and efficient. He explained everything clearly and was able to fix the problem. He also tried to keep the mess to a minimum which I really appreciated. They were clear and concise on the cost of the visit and there were no hidden costs. Before they walked in the door I knew about how much it would cost.
Rabio from Joe's come by and was super professional and a joy to have in the house repairing the issue we had with a burst pipe. It was fast and he really stepped up and did a great job. I recommend them to anyone looking for some quality work.
When our water heater stopped working (on a Saturday) a couple weeks back, we were given a quick time of Monday morning to check things out. Ben and Rabiu worked efficiently, quickly, and were very transparent of what they were doing (they even helped putting the old heater out by the curb). The price was exactly as quoted, and we had hot water with no issues a few hours later.Today we noticed we were not getting hot water again. Upon calling Joe's, Rabiu was back to check things out in under two hours. It had gone out due to the power outage from the previous storm, and Rabiu had it up and working again very quickly.Their quick turnaround and dedication to customer retention is amazing, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
