Flow is the way to go.While undergoing some renovations in my newly acquired century home, I have needed the services of plumbers a few times. I have learned that some plumbers are there to drain you of your money; some plumbers charge a lot more than others because they are a big company with big overhead; there are plumbers who will do 'this' but not 'that'; the are plumbers that seek to soak you; and then there are the ones whom we hope to be the 'good ones' who explain what they do, charge you a fair price and become your trusted trade. Flow appears to fall under the last group.Admittedly, the job was a very small one of attaching a line off the hot water to supply the furnace humidifier. Nonetheless, I felt very comfortable with my plumber and hope that they will be my go-to from now on. My one suggestion for my scenario is that the furnace humidifier filter have been checked before we let the water run, as apparently (I didn't see it but my contractor said it was the following day) my filter was well past it's end of life and the water ended up overflowing the system. Once I replaced the filter it all worked as expected. The filter may not be in scope of the plumber's work but since it is connected, I thought they may know something about it and could point it out as something to check.Happy to supprt a local, independent business. Happy to use them again and recommend to my neighbours.
Just had Peter and Garrison here to clean out a blocked sewer line. This is the second time Flow Plumbing has been here, with Peter clearing out a different part of the sewer line. Excellent service both times. Very knowledgeable and I was given advice on moving forward to make this process even easier. They will be back to make necessary changes in this old house. Highly recommend!!
We have used Flo Plumbing for our entire downstairs renovation, snaking of the pipes twice a year and anytime we have any plumbing issues. Their work and customer service is ALWAYS exceptional and they always fix the problem and explain it every step of the way. We have an older home and I can’t express enough how nice it is to have them and never have to worry if something comes up. They always fit us in and the service is amazing! I hired Flow to rough in a bathroom I was renovating here in Burlington. They were able to come to complete the work a couple of days after I called and did an excellent job dealing with a less than ideal situation. They ensured all the plumbing was updated to code and even gave me support after they had left to deal with an unrelated issue I had. Would definitely recommend if you want quick and professional service.
