ETA: response to owner below.Horrible experience. It is impossible to get in touch with any type of management and everyone time you get the excuse that they are in a “meeting”. The work we had done doubled in price and we paid but now our toilet doesn’t seem straight so we asked them to come back and they obviously do not want to take any accountability and want to charge more to fix it since we can’t prove it was them and it could’ve been crooked before they moved it. It’s a simple fix and they have lost our business by digging in their heels over $200 after they charged us $1200 more than our original quote. Do not recommend them at all!Original quote was $1600 and yall charged $2800 (apologies it was not exactly double?). It was not expanded at our request - it was expanded because yall claimed you could not complete it without doing $1200 more of work and you had already cut open our ceiling. We called 2 weeks later because we do not live at the property and did not inspect it until that time but called as soon as we noticed. You did not come to inspect free of cost, it was supposed to be $69 but you waived it because you would rather do that than call us back. Been waiting days for a call but apparently can get a response to a google review in a few hours. Sorry these details were not specified in my original post but wanted any customers reading the owner’s reply to have the full story!
Outrageous price!! Charge me over $600 for a shower cartridge replacement. Got quote for shut off valve replacement and quoted me $175/valve including parts and labor. I asked around and was able to find a licensed master plumber who quoted me $50/valve. My fault for not doing my research for the shower cartridge repair, and I paid for it. PLEASE ask around and get quote from different companies, do not be a fool like me! This company is way too greedy and ridiculous. RUN AWAY!The owner claims he can not find my record, my estimate number is 102202140.
They called me a cheap customer because I didn't want to pay for a bid to hook up the plumbing for a sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher on a new installation. Like they could't provide a quote over the phone for a new install. If they had said their hourly rate was X I would have told them to come on out. It's a simple job.
Loren (the owner) has always taken care of me and been very accessible. Mario( the plumber) was very courteous and completed the work in a timely manner. I’ve always been satisfied with Halo.
We hired halo to do pipes under our house as they were old and needed to be replaced. Fast forward a year and we had an issue with a toilet not flushing. Jose came out and explained the cost clearly before beginning the work. After going through their process they were able to figure out there was a warranty issue with the pipes that the replaced. In all honesty they could have ripped me off because they stood by their work and will be working on it soon. Will follow up if there are any issues with the warranty work. They have been responsive and honest people to work with.
